Too Cute To Not Share!!

Dylan is coloring a picture for Grandma and Grandpa Shaver! He enjoys coloring but that day he also enjoyed dropping the crayons and getting down to pick them up then doing it over and over again! Then on Sunday Uncle Brad brought Dylan lots of paper and new crayons so he drew him a picture and one for Aunt Ashley.

The Hat--Seth has about 10 hats but this is the only one Dylan likes for him to wear. If Seth has on a different hat Dylan will take it off and go get him this one. It is pretty funny!! I will have to teach Dylan to take daddy a purple hat next!!!

My little Ducky!! Dylan loves baths more than anything in the world. That is one word that we have to spell in our house. If we say the word bath Dylan runs to get his towel and then we pretty much have to give him one!! Here he is right after a bath--he looks like such a big boy!
Dylan was trying to fit Elmo (or Melemo as Dylan says) on his truck so he could give him a ride. He was squeezing his eyes pretty hard--maybe Dylan should try turning him around next time! Later in the evening Dylan was moving his truck closer to the trunk behind him so he could stand on the truck and get on the trunk!! What a clever little guy!

Dylan loves M&Ms!! I gave him a few and this is where is hid them!! I guess he didn't want Toby to find them. It's not like they lasted too long in there--he eats them pretty fast!!

The last one for the evening--Dylan brushing his teeth! Another favorite past time at our house!

The past couple of weeks!!!!

Dylan is such a great helper!! He loves helping mommy clean up around the house. Here he is helping with laundry! He also likes to dust, vacuum, and put dishes in the dish washer!! He is going to make some lady very happy someday!!!

We recently painted our kitchen and added a few things to it!! We aren't quite done, but close. We are going to add some quotes on the 3 rectangles on the top. I made the curtains myself and I think they look pretty good!!
Between the basement and back door we painted a chalkboard finish! It is a lot of fun and Dylan enjoys writing on it! I have to say I enjoy it too!!
Above the stove Seth added a couple shelves. Since our kitchen is small it is nice to have extra space to store things!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and 2008 is starting out good!! We will begin with one of Dylan's favorite Christmas gifts from Santa!! It is a ball pit-that he and Toby love!! He likes climbing on it, throwing the balls in and out, and going down the slide, head first!!

Sledding!!

We took Dylan sledding over the weekend at Grandma and Grandpa Shaver's house!! We had so much fun!! Dylan may not look like he is enjoying himself, but trust me, he his!! He laughed so hard the whole time!! However, I am not sure what he found more fun, going down the hill or watching as we pulled him up the hill!! His sled is very cool too, just his size and it has a seat belt, which we need with daddy and grandpa pulling him!!

Winter Fun

Last night we finally went out a picked out a Christmas tree!! It was very cold and they were snowy!! We had been putting it off because we didn't know how Dylan would handle it! He liked helping Daddy with the tree stand and I think they got it pretty straight!! He also loved the lights and he was dragging them all over the room. We put up a few ornaments then I finished when he went to bed! He of course called all of the ornaments balls and this morning took a few off and brought them to us! I may have to put them a little higher up!

Dylan's first time playing in the snow!! We had so much fun and he loved it! Seth kept making him snowballs to play with!! He would throw them down and then try and pick them back up! He had on so many layers that if he fell down he wasn't able to get back up! I cannot wait for the next big snowfall so we can play again!!

Seth finished up the Christmas lights Sunday night. After Dylan had his bath we went out to take a look. There are lights on the house but they blink so it was hard to get a picture when they were on!

Dylan and I made some Christmas cookies Saturday night. He did pretty good frosting them and he loved putting sprinkles on them. He also took a cookie and dipped it in the frosting!!

Here is one of Dylan and Toby!! They love each other so much and every once in a while they give each other kisses!!!

Our Thanksgiving Weekend!

We had a great Thanksgiving!! On Thursday we went to my sister's house and celebrated with my side of the family and on Friday we celebrated with Seth's family!

On Thursday evening we had some family over to just hang out and play games. We didn't get around to the games, but we did have a lot of fun!! Here are Dylan's 2 prettiest cousins, Courtney and Whitney!!

This is one of those pictures I can use to embarrass Dylan with down the road! Grandma likes to but him these pajamas with hats!! He looks like one of Santa's elves!! We decorated for Christmas Sunday and Dylan loves the singing snowmen Seth gets me every year! We are going to need a lot of batteries and Tylenol this Christmas--because Dylan plays them non-stop!!
