Sprinkle!
Saturday I co-hosted a sprinkle for a fabulous friend of mine. She has an adorable 20 month old little guy and is being blessed with a baby girl at the end of December!
My sister and I made the cupcakes. I did the easy part...baking and Ash made the homemade pink frosting and then frosted them. I can never get my frosting to look like that, so thanks Ashley!! I used the other cupcake holder to hold some girly items Baby Girl will need!!
It was so much fun to throw!

We were shot
By a great photographer that is!! This is our 3rd year having Ken take our pictures and we love them more and more each year.
This year we decided to do them in the fall since the past 2 years we did them in the summer. I am in love with ALL of them. I think I will just order one of all 119 and use them as a border in the living room!!!
Who would have thought that an alley with dumpsters would make such a great back drop for a picture--I love it!
I love the feel of the pictures. So different from the past 2 years, and that's just what I wanted.

Leaves!
I love the big trees in our front yard. They are so old and mature. I love driving down our street and seeing all of the huge, old trees lining everyone's yard. It is the best in the fall when they are all beautiful shades of orange, yellow, and red.
However, during that time you also start to see big, full trash bags lining the streets. I hate raking leaves. It is fun to make one big pile and let Dylan jump in it. Other than that...no fun at all. I try and help, but Seth ends up doing most of the work. I just act as photographer!!
That big pile you see though, that was me that raked that. It would be my husband that raked it up and bagged it though!!

Our Spooktacular Weekend
We had such a fun weekend! Friday night we carved our pumpkins! Dylan enjoyed cleaning out the pumpkins this year and didn't mind getting his hands dirty!
I handed over a marker and told Dylan to draw eyes, a nose, and mouth and then we cut it out. I think he did a great job! And yes, he made the eyes 2 different sizes, it wasn't a mistake made by the carver!
On a couple of his pumpkins we had pieces that he could put in for the face. So much fun!
And our finished products. I love carving pumpkins. It is something we always did as a family growing up and I enjoy doing it with my family now.
Saturday night Dylan helped me make a very spooky dinner, eyeballs, snakes, and blood sauce. He did a great job helping and even helped me mix up the meatballs, I mean eyeballs, and put the snakes in the boiling water.
We had a very cute lion this year. Daddy thinks next year he should be something like a vampire, I vote for something like an elephant! I'm not ready for Dylan to be the generic boy costumes quite yet!!
I can't believe he will have a sister sitting next to him on the porch next year! Things sure will be different!

True Love
All I can say is that I love this little guy more than anything in the world. I love all of our moments we share (even at 4 AM this morning!!). I never knew that I would love someone so much. He is pure happiness to me.

Halloween Party
Saturday afternoon Dylan had a Halloween Party for some of his friends. He was so excited about it and kept asking me who was coming!
When the kids arrived we started with making our own pizzas. They each had a pumpkin shaped pizza crust and topped it with sauce, pepperoni, and cheese!
As they baked the colored a pumpkin and played in the living room!
I am pretty proud of my fruit bowls I made! I just cut oranges like you would a pumpkin and put fruit salad inside! I am pretty sure the moms were more impressed with this than the kids! I am also known as the crazy one since I do these parties at my house and the pumpkin oranges made me more crazy! They assured me that it's a good crazy though!

After we ate we sat ob the driveway and painted pumpkins. I am so happy it was such a nice day and we were able to do this outside. The kids seemed to enjoy painting and picking out their colors!
We then came back inside and they all played for a while. Then they decorated a cupcake!
It was a fun afternoon. I really do love planning these parties and having friends over!! Now I will have think about what to do for a Christmas party!! Or would that make me even more crazy!!
