I am so happy we chose to have Dylan go to preschool at Randolph. I LOVE bringing him to school with me 4 days a week. I wasn't sure how I would like it, but I do. We get there around 7:45 and for about 45 minutes we just hang out in my classroom. I work at my desk and he eats breakfast and watches cartoons (lucky to have a TV in my room!!), draws on my board, or plays with math stuff!! He knows his way around and loves to push the button on the copier for me. He walks into the office like he owns the place! He even stands at my door and greets my students as they come in. As they are coming in it is also time for him to go. Luckily his classroom is right down the hall from mine. He gets his little monster backpack on, leans up for a kiss and then he's off. He walks down to his room all my himself. I am so proud of him...I am proud that he loves school, that he has the confidence to walk down the hall and into his room by himself, and that he still wants a kiss from mommy! I am also proud when I hear things about him from his teachers. They will tell me how sweet he is, how cute he is (well, duh!!!), how kind and friendly he is...
Dylan is going to be such a great big brother. I can't wait to see how he reacts to a new brother or sister (according to Dylan it is a sister and her name is Bounce). He will be awesome, this is going to be one lucky baby to have such a great big brother!
